What to expect when during your treatment

Before Your Appointment
If you are booking an acupuncture treatment, please have a regular meal beforehand.
If this is your first visit, please complete the online health history form after booking. This helps your session begin smoothly. If you prefer a paper copy, one can be provided before your appointment. All information you share is confidential and only released with your consent or as required by law.

When You Arrive
With your consent, I will review your health history and gather any information needed to support safe and effective care. If you consent to assessment, I will perform appropriate evaluations before treatment.
For acupuncture, assessment may include observation, listening and smelling, palpation, tongue observation, and pulse assessment. Using this information, I will form a TCM‑based diagnosis and outline a treatment plan.

During Treatment
Whether you are receiving massage therapy or acupuncture, you may undress to your own level of comfort. You will always be properly draped to maintain privacy and warmth.
Your treatment will follow what we discussed at the start of your session, using techniques that are appropriate for your goals and within my scope of practice. You are welcome to request adjustments at any time, and you may pause, alter or stop the treatment whenever you choose.

After Treatment
We’ll review how you’re feeling, address any questions, and discuss self‑care strategies if appropriate. Follow‑up scheduling can be planned based on your goals and how your body responds.
